Desktop chat clients
You can easily connect to our chat by installing a chat client on your computer.

The chat software shows an icon in your system tray (next to your Windows clock). It shows a popup when you receive a chat message. Or you can click it when you want to initiate a chat yourself.
Many people are familiar with desktop chat clients from the popular networks like MSN, Yahoo instant messenger, AIM, ICQ, ... The downside of these "closed" chat systems is that you can only use their chat software (with ads included), and only talk to other people on their own network.
Our chat server is based on "open standards", called XMPP/Jabber. This means:
- You are not restricted to using 1 particular chat client. You can choose from any software that can connect to this system.
- You can connect to any chat network that uses this system. For example, you can also log in to Google GTalk with these chat clients.
